Forced Marriages

Is it just me or does this seem like a topic rarely brought up? Oh well.... As you might have guess forced marriage happens when either one or both parties refuse to take part in the life changing "holy matrimony".  While doing some research on the matter i learned of its roots in well known Europe among the upperclass. Though it is said to have ceased in the 1900's, research shows it is still practiced in very rare parts of South Asia, East Asia, the Middle East and Africa with some cases in Western Europe and North America too. Early percentages show that in the earlier years the wife was the one to most likely not be in favor of marriage but in more recent studies there is also the case of males being opposed to the idea as well. In fact United Nations view it as 'Human Right Abuse' and catholic churches claims it as reasoning for annulment. The main purpose for marriage is unity among two people to create a single life as one in bliss and matrimony of their own accord. In forced marriage often times the people forcing the spouses just see the "unity" or the aspect of getting peace in family or passing on the family line. Though not many casesof forced marriage is brought to life, the fact still remains that its out there somewhere. Whether we want to view it as right or wrong is up to us but they need help and only a hand can give it to them.

Arranged Marriage

As we all come to know arranged marriage is an act of joining without dating periods or getting to know the person on a deep scale. Whether its wrong in some eyes yet right in others the practice of arranged marriage is still used today in places like South Asia. The start of this process took way back from periods we cant even define, but it is said to start in the various areas of Europe. It has been carried out ever since as something to be see everyday since then. However over time we gained the majority saying of choosing for ourselves what to do for marriage.Although some like to frown upon the idea of an arranged marriage, there no REAL forcing into it. The arrangement can happen any kind of way by any person and in some cultures it is seen as tradition and a way of peacemaking. But  as the years go by the percentage of arranged marriages decrease steadily. Some hate the ideas at first and end in divorce while others just live miserably. Then there are those that really get their happy ending, but not all of them. How would you sit well with the idea that someone had already arranged for you to marry someone? would you faint? cry? get angry? many would have mixed and complex emotion, but some would feel just fine. The truth behind it is nothing can really be helped but in some way when you think about it when we find our perfect one we feel the idea that they were meant for us all along...kinda like an arranged marriage, no? ;)

gay marriage

Marriage has always been seen a sacred act between both men and women but nothing except slander has been said about the acts of same marriage. Since same sex marriage is not really considered legal in some areas, divorce follows the same. Some have resorted to marriages in San Francisco while others go out of country in search for people who can marry them. How wrong is it that we have to make bliss hard for same sex couples? Having them go out of their precious time to search for a place to marry their life partner. Same sex marriage has many benefits to the country as well as the people and homosexual, bisexuals and lesbians. The government makes lots of money off of weddings from decorations to reception and even the place the couple stays after wards. They also make their money off of divorce as well with the expensive costs of being seperated, especially when both parties might not agree to divorce. If gay marriage was allowed we can make more money due to hundreds maybe thousands of more people getting married and/or divorced. Adoption rates will sky rocket from the many homes adopting kids, leaving less lonely and poor conditioned kids inside of adoption homes. Many children adopted by same sex couples are said to lead a normal life like everyone else and turn out normal with no defects or problems.

This also sets lesson for the people of the country, for their ancestors fought for the FREEDOM and RIGHTS of ALL. How do you think they are feeling when they see us quarreling over who can do what? It's like we took both their and our own cause and spit center in its' face without even realizing what we have done. We are no better than the unjust monarchy back in the old days when we were connected to Great Britain. Some put out the claim of "God said man should lay with women or if God wanted same sex then he would have made adam and steve not adam and eve." Well let me set you straight right now. If you are a follower of God then you must know that God wants all his children to be happy. If he is a kind and loving God then he would love everyone INCLUDING homosexuals, bisexuals and lesbians. If you read the bible then you would know that He wants you to treat others the way you want to be treated and love thy neighbor as themselves. If thats the case then in protesting gay marriage, aren't they protesting God's say? That they in doing so continue sin? Everyone has a right to marry how and who they want. If not then all the blood shed, tears, and printed bibles have gone to waste. For we don't even follow, instead we fake and try to twist it to our own mind's belief...

lets talk marriage

Marriage is a common topic discussed in both politics and the stained-glass chapels themselves. From the not so popular case of polygamy to the very famous debate on gay marriage people often tend to argue over these issues all around the untied states. I'm here to give some back information and some personal opinion on the matter as well as opinion heard from people in politics as well. Who knows maybe you might learn something new, won't that be fun? However I won't just stop there, for I feel the need to explain the way of the common civil marriage, religious marriage and interfaith marriages that seem to get little attention from the people these days. Maybe we might even cover prison marriages, arranged marriages, cousin marriages and military marriages. Now i'm sure that either you know or someone close to you knows a person who is in one of these situations. So let me share my opinion, along with detailed facts to bring more light to these subjects under deep research and a thorough understanding.
